Element Management System
The project was to design an element management system (EMS) capable of managing multiple node
elements in a wide area network.
Following evaluation of alternative architectures and EMS frameworks, the
AdventNet Framework was selected. The
Business Accelerators Inc. was responsible for designing, implementing and testing both the client
and server side functionality for this EMS system. Our development of this EMS involved the following
technologies:
- AdventNet WebStudio Framework
- AdventNet SNMP Simulator
- Java
- C/C++
The solution provided to our client integrates with the embedded SNMP agent functionality we
developed on the remote nodes of the client system.
